A southpaw originally from Michigan's "Northwoods," Britney Booth is a lifelong outdoorswoman and shooting enthusiast passionate about upland bird hunting, over-and-under shotguns and German shorthaired pointers (GSP).
A graduate of Western Michigan University, Britney holds a bachelor's degree in journalism. After entering the outdoor industry post-college, Britney leveraged her digital marketing and communications knowledge to start Booth Media Group, a full-service marketing company specializing in editorial and magazine publishing in the outdoor and hunting markets. Britney leverages more than 20 years of experience to edit and coordinates multiple publications in the outdoor space, including Ruffed Grouse Society's Covers magazine, North American Gamebird Association's NAGA News and Hunting Life magazine.
Britney and Booth Media Group have won numerous Pinnacle Awards from the Professional Outdoor Media Association, honoring journalists for remarkable achievement in traditional outdoor sports-focused communications, the Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers Excellence in Craft awards for publishing as well as multiple APEX Awards of Excellence from Communications Concepts, Inc., for excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence. In 2024, Britney was awarded the Professional Outdoor Media Association’s prestigious Emerald Award for her volunteer work in the organization.
Britney currently serves as the vice president of the Professional Outdoor Media Association. She resides in Alabama with her husband JT, daughter Hunter-Leigh and GSP Guns.
